A bit of history

Back in May 1969, the French government passed a law that gave workers the right to 4 weeks paid holiday.
That same year, Les Tamaris campsite opened for the first time, with the aim of offering French holidays in a simple setting, yet one that had wonderful views over Bréhec Cove and surrounded by an authentic, unspoilt landscape.

Fifty years on, Les Tamaris campsite continues to welcome tourists from all over Europe, visitors who want to discover the Côtes-d’Armor and its fabulous beaches.

In 2019, Les Tamaris welcomed a new owner for the first time, passing the reins to a local person who wanted to safeguard the history and authenticity of this spot, finding ways to modernise the infrastructures without losing the old-fashioned charm.

In 2020, we added mobile homes and chalets to the traditional pitches for tents and campervans, as well as a bar with a beautiful decking area overlooking the sea and the Bréhec coastline.
